Rayman Legends Retold will officially launch on December 3, with the development team confirming the release date despite the game already having gone gold.

The Rayman development team announced the date alongside an update explaining that it has decided to spend additional time polishing the game before release.

According to the announcement, Rayman Legends Retold has officially gone gold, meaning the game has reached an important development milestone. However, the team isn’t rushing it out the door.

“While the game has officially gone gold, we have decided to take extra time to make sure every detail gets the care it deserves.”

The additional development time will therefore be used for further polish ahead of the December launch.

New Gameplay Is Coming on September 22

Fans won’t have to wait until December to see more of the game.

A new Game Overview trailer will be released on September 22, providing a closer look at what the team has been working on.

The same day will also mark the beginning of fresh coverage from selected content creators and members of the press, who will be allowed to share their hands-on impressions of Rayman Legends Retold.

With the game already gold and new gameplay coverage arriving September 22, Rayman Legends Retold is now officially scheduled to release on December 3.
