Stellar Blade’s free Nintendo Switch 2 demo is now available worldwide, giving players an opportunity to test Shift Up’s action RPG ahead of its November 5 release.

The demo launched globally on September 20 and offers an early look at both the game itself and the additional options Shift Up has implemented to optimize the experience for Nintendo Switch 2.

The Switch 2 version was also recently playable at Tokyo Game Show, where attendees had the opportunity to try the port ahead of launch.

Stellar Blade Launches November 5 on Switch 2

Stellar Blade will officially release for Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5, 2026, with both physical and digital versions planned.

Shift Up is also offering a Complete Edition, which includes the expansions released for Stellar Blade alongside additional suits, cosmetics and in-game currency.

According to the game’s official Switch 2 website, the Complete Edition will cost $60, while a $70 physical version will include a steelbook.

Physical copies will ship on a 32GB game card, while players purchasing Stellar Blade digitally will need approximately 25GB of available storage.

Stellar Blade Comes to Its Third Platform

The Nintendo Switch 2 release marks another major platform expansion for Stellar Blade.

Shift Up’s action game originally launched on PlayStation 5 before later making its way to PC. Nintendo players will now get their own version, including the additional content released since the original launch.

Anyone unsure about picking it up can download the free Switch 2 demo now and test the game before its November release.
