A deleted post-credits scene discovered in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced reveals new connections between Edward Kenway, Adéwalé and Assassin’s Creed III, potentially hinting at abandoned expansion plans.
A YouTube user named Sliderv2 has reportedly recovered an unfinished post-credits sequence from the files of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.
The scene, which lasts just over a minute, appears to take place in London approximately five years after the events of Black Flag, offering a glimpse into Edward Kenway’s life after returning to England.

Cut Scene Connects Black Flag, Rogue and Assassin’s Creed III
According to the recovered footage, Edward Kenway reunites with Adéwalé, his former quartermaster and fellow Assassin, who answers his request for assistance.
The sequence also references the death of King George I, placing the events around 1727, as the Assassin Brotherhood prepares to defend the British Isles.
Another important detail is the appearance of Miko, a leader of the British Brotherhood.
Miko previously appeared in Assassin’s Creed III, where he was assassinated by Edward’s son, Haytham Kenway, during the game’s opening sequence.
His inclusion would have created a stronger narrative connection between Black Flag and Assassin’s Creed III, while also providing additional context for Adéwalé’s story between Freedom Cry and Rogue.
Could Black Flag Resynced Have Received an Expansion?
The deleted sequence raises questions about whether Ubisoft once considered expanding Edward Kenway’s story beyond the original game’s ending.
A potential continuation could have explored his involvement with the British Brotherhood, his family life and the events leading toward Assassin’s Creed III.
However, there is no confirmation that the scene was intended to introduce DLC or another game.
The footage reportedly comes from unfinished content reconstructed from the game’s files, meaning its original purpose remains uncertain.
For now, the discovery offers an interesting look at a storyline that never appeared in the final version of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.
