PlayStation and LEGO have officially revealed a 1,911-piece LEGO recreation of the original PlayStation console, complete with a controller and references to Gran Turismo and Ape Escape.
After leaking earlier this year, the LEGO PlayStation set (72306) is now official following its reveal during PlayStation’s latest State of Play.
The finished console measures approximately 10.5 inches (26 cm) wide and is designed at close to a 1:1 scale of the original PlayStation.
LEGO PlayStation Includes Gran Turismo and Ape Escape
Alongside the console and its iconic controller, the set contains two removable dioramas celebrating classic PlayStation games.
The Gran Turismo diorama includes a miniature racetrack and cars, while Ape Escape gets an island scene featuring a monkey with interchangeable blue and red helmet lights.
There are also several functional elements, including working Power and Open buttons, while the LEGO controller can be plugged directly into the console.
Both game dioramas can be removed and displayed separately.
LEGO PlayStation Price and Release Date
The LEGO PlayStation will first become available through PlayStation Direct on October 1, 2026 in selected markets.
LEGO Insiders will also receive Early Access beginning October 1, followed by a wider release through LEGO Stores and LEGO’s online store on October 4.

The collaboration celebrates more than 30 years of PlayStation history, with additional hidden references included throughout the build.
