Grand Theft Auto 6 could launch on PC in the first quarter of 2027, just months after its scheduled console release, according to a new report.
Rockstar Games may be planning a much shorter wait between the console and PC versions of Grand Theft Auto 6 than previously expected.
According to a report from GamesBeat, citing four anonymous industry sources familiar with Rockstar’s plans, GTA 6 is reportedly targeting a PC release between January and March 2027.
However, Rockstar has not officially confirmed the information.

GTA 6 PC Release Could Arrive by March 2027
Grand Theft Auto 6 is currently scheduled to launch on 19. studenoga 2026., for PlayStation 5 i Xbox Series X|S.
If the reported PC release window is accurate, players could experience the game on PC approximately two to four months after its console debut.
That would represent a significant change from Rockstar’s previous release strategy.
Grand Theft Auto 5 originally launched on consoles in September 2013, while its PC version arrived in April 2015, more than 18 months later.
A considerably shorter gap for GTA 6 could influence purchasing decisions among players who own both gaming PCs and consoles.
Rockstar Has Not Confirmed GTA 6 PC Plans
Despite the report, Rockstar Games has not announced an official GTA 6 PC release date or launch window.
The company also reportedly did not respond to GamesBeat’s request for comment before publication.
Details surrounding GTA 6 Online remain unclear, including whether its release could coincide with the PC version.
For now, November 19, 2026, remains the confirmed console launch date, while the reported Q1 2027 PC release should be treated as unverified until Rockstar makes an official announcement.
