Following recent leaks, publisher Aspyr has officially confirmed that Shrek 2 Remastered is coming to PlayStation 5 on November 10, priced at $29.99.
Originally released in 2004 for PlayStation 2 and other platforms, the game returns with visual improvements and expanded multiplayer options while preserving its familiar fairy-tale adventure.

Shrek 2 Remastered Features 4K Graphics and Online Co-op
The remastered edition introduces several improvements and new features:
- 4K Resolution: Improved textures, updated user interface and enhanced cutscenes.
- Four-Player Co-op: Play locally, online or with a combination of couch and online multiplayer.
- Photo Mode: Capture memorable moments throughout the adventure.
- Cheat Mode: Unlock additional cheats during gameplay.
