WARDOGS has reached another major milestone, selling more than 2 million copies during its first week in Steam Early Access.

BULKHEAD and Team17 launched the tactical FPS into Early Access on 10. rujna 2026., and the game has quickly established itself as one of Steam’s biggest new releases.

WARDOGS Reaches 2 Million Sales

The developers confirmed the milestone through the official WARDOGS social media account, revealing that the game has now surpassed 2 million copies sold.

The figure represents another substantial jump from its already impressive launch. WARDOGS sold more than 1.25 million copies within its first day, meaning approximately another 750,000 copies were sold in the days that followed.

The game has also attracted an enormous number of players simultaneously. WARDOGS recently surpassed 400,000 concurrent players on Steam, reaching a SteamDB peak of 400,196.

WARDOGS Is Still Only in Early Access

The success comes while WARDOGS remains at the beginning of its development roadmap.

BULKHEAD has previously said that the game is expected to remain in Early Access for at least one year, giving the studio time to continue expanding and improving the experience based on player feedback.

Console players will have a considerably longer wait. The developers have said that a console version is planned, but WARDOGS won’t arrive on consoles before 2028 at the earliest.

With 2 million copies already sold in its opening week and hundreds of thousands of concurrent players at its peak, WARDOGS has made an exceptionally strong start to its Early Access journey.
