Once again, Take-Two Interactive<\/a> CEO Strauss Zelnick has reassured fans that Grand Theft Auto VI<\/a> is still on track for its November 19, 2026 release date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Normally, a third confirmation of a game\u2019s launch window would not be huge news.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But this is GTA 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At this point, there are literally teenagers entering high school who were not even born when Grand Theft Auto V<\/a> originally launched back in 2013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GTA 6 Has Already Been Delayed Multiple Times<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Originally, Rockstar Games<\/a> planned to launch GTA 6 in 2025 before eventually moving the game to May 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project was then delayed again in late 2025, with the release date officially landing on 19. studenoga 2026.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back in April during the iicon event for industry executives, Zelnick jokingly claimed that many people would probably be \u201ccalling in sick\u201d on launch day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, he has doubled down on the release date once again \u2014 this time sounding even more confident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking to David Senra, Zelnick directly stated that he knows exactly when the game is releasing:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When asked about the multiple delays, he responded:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2026it could actually be the most valuable entertainment property ever created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While he acknowledged that franchises like Mario Kart and Call of Duty are difficult to compare directly, he still made it clear how highly Take-Two views the GTA brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI think in terms of the value of the IP, most people believe it is the most valuable entertainment IP ever created.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Considering GTA 5 has already sold well over 200 million copies globally, it\u2019s honestly difficult to argue against that statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GTA 6 Review Copies May Never Exist<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The second major rumor surrounding GTA 6 is arguably even crazier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Brazilian journalist Pedro Henrique Lutti Lippe, Rockstar Games<\/a> i Take-Two<\/a> may completely refuse to distribute review copies or review codes ahead of launch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead, media outlets and journalists could reportedly be invited to highly controlled preview events hosted directly by Rockstar itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Honestly, this would not be surprising at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
