Between years of updates, the critically acclaimed Phantom Liberty<\/strong> expansion, and the success of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners<\/strong>, many players consider CD Projekt Red’s sci-fi epic one of gaming’s greatest comeback stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, according to the studio’s leadership, the damage caused by Cyberpunk 2077’s disastrous launch may never be fully repaired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cyberpunk 2077’s Launch Still Haunts CD Projekt Red<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Despite the game’s current success, he admitted that he isn’t entirely convinced the studio has fully regained the trust it lost during Cyberpunk 2077’s troubled launch period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The executive emphasized that long-term success depends on a studio’s ability to continue funding future projects through successful releases, something that becomes increasingly difficult in today’s crowded market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite Nowakowski’s reservations, Cyberpunk 2077 has undeniably achieved something remarkable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
