Final Fantasy 7 Revelation<\/a><\/strong> director Naoki Hamaguchi<\/strong> has reassured fans that the upcoming game will deliver a complete conclusion to the Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy, with no DLC required to see the true ending.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The third and final installment is scheduled for 2027<\/strong>, and while Square Enix hasn’t ruled out releasing additional content afterward, Hamaguchi says the development team is committed to finishing the entire main story within Revelation itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, the director continues to keep fans guessing about exactly what that ending will look like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Full Ending Will Be in Final Fantasy 7 Revelation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Speaking in a recent interview with Automaton, Hamaguchi addressed concerns that Revelation could leave part of its conclusion for a future expansion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s not happening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hamaguchi confirmed that the story will be completely concluded within the main game, emphasizing that the team is serious about bringing the Remake trilogy to an end with Revelation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s particularly important considering how dramatically Final Fantasy 7 Remake<\/strong> and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth<\/strong> have expanded and altered elements of the original 1997 story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Players won’t need to purchase an additional expansion to discover how Cloud and his companions’ journey ultimately ends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
