Ghost of Yotei<\/a> Complete Edition has officially been announced<\/strong>, bringing a major story expansion, a new roguelike-inspired survival mode, additional Trophies, cosmetics, and more to Sucker Punch’s open-world adventure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Complete Edition launches on October 1, 2026<\/strong>, exactly one year after Ghost of Yotei’s original release. Its biggest additions are the new Echoes of Sekigahara<\/strong> narrative expansion and Most Wanted<\/strong> combat survival mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Existing Ghost of Yotei owners won’t need to purchase the entire game again, either, with a Complete Edition upgrade available separately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ghost of Yotei: Echoes of Sekigahara Expands Atsu’s Story<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The biggest addition is Echoes of Sekigahara<\/strong>, a new narrative expansion that dives deeper into Atsu’s past while introducing another unexplored region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Players will meet Nagato<\/strong>, a character connected to Atsu’s history, with the expansion telling its story across both the present day and flashbacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the present, Atsu travels to an unseen valley once occupied by The Snake and his loyal gang, the Vipers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The flashback sequences will take players much further into Atsu’s history, allowing them to experience her involvement in the Battle of Sekigahara<\/strong> and learn more about the events that ultimately led to her returning home and beginning her quest for vengeance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Echoes of Sekigahara won’t simply add another story, either. The expansion introduces new enemies, heavy weapons, armor sets, dyes, and other content<\/strong> to discover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sucker Punch says more information about the expansion will be revealed closer to release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
