Embracer Group<\/a> has provided a clearer idea of when players can expect Darksiders 4 <\/strong><\/a>and the next Kingdom Come game<\/a><\/strong>, with both titles currently targeting the company’s 2027\/2028 fiscal year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next Kingdom Come was recently officially announced by Warhorse Studios, while a discovered trademark has fueled speculation surrounding its potential title. Now, Embracer’s latest financial report has given us the first indication of when the game could actually arrive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Darksiders 4 and Kingdom Come Target FY 2027\/2028<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The information comes from Embracer Group’s Q1 interim report for FY 2026\/2027, which includes an updated publishing and development schedule for the company’s announced games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the report, Darksiders 4 is currently scheduled for FY 2027\/2028<\/strong>, with PlayStation<\/a> 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC listed as its platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next Kingdom Come game is targeting the same fiscal year<\/strong>, although Embracer hasn’t listed its platforms yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For context, Embracer’s FY 2027\/2028 would run from April 2027 through March 2028<\/strong>, giving both games a fairly broad potential launch window.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s particularly interesting for Kingdom Come fans following the enormous success of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. Warhorse Studios has already confirmed that another installment is coming, although very little has officially been revealed about the project so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A recently discovered trademark for Kingdom Come: Salvation<\/strong> has led to speculation that this could be the title of the next game, though that has not yet been officially confirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n

Embracer Has Several Major Games Coming Before Then<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Darksiders 4 and Kingdom Come aren’t the only major games listed in Embracer’s updated schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4<\/strong> is currently scheduled for December 2026, while Stage Tour is targeting the 2026 holiday period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

February 2027 is shaping up to be particularly significant, with both Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis and Metro 2039<\/strong> currently scheduled for that month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking further ahead, Tomb Raider: Catalyst<\/strong> is listed for calendar year 2028.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Embracer’s schedule also includes Deus Ex Remastered and Thief: The Dark Project Remastered<\/strong>, although neither project currently has a confirmed release window.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The dates remain subject to change, particularly with Darksiders 4 and the next Kingdom Come still relatively far away, but the report at least gives fans a better idea of when both games are expected to arrive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
