HoYoverse<\/a> has officially revealed Nodusfall during Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026, showing the first gameplay from its new co-op action game built around teams taking down enormous creatures.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

HoYoverse has another major project on the way, and this one looks considerably different from what we’ve come to expect from the studio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nodusfall made its official debut during Gamescom 2026 Opening Night Live<\/strong>, where HoYoverse premiered the game’s first trailer and provided an early look at its world, combat, and enormous enemies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Previously rumored under the codename \u201cGenesis,\u201d<\/strong> Nodusfall is being presented as a cooperative action game focused heavily on teamwork, tactical combat, and battles against powerful creatures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And if the debut footage is anything to go by, Monster Hunter fans might want to keep this one on their radar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nodusfall Is HoYoverse’s New Co-Op Action Game<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Nodusfall world premiere trailer shows multiple protagonists battling massive creatures together, with the gameplay immediately drawing comparisons to the Monster Hunter series<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HoYoverse describes the central concept around players standing together against powerful beings, using close coordination and carefully planned tactics<\/strong> to bring them down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That cooperative element appears to be at the heart of Nodusfall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rather than simply overwhelming enemies individually, the footage suggests players will need to coordinate their attacks and abilities during encounters with much larger opponents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The trailer also includes narration providing some early hints about the game’s lore and mysterious fantasy setting, although HoYoverse is keeping many of the specifics under wraps for now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nodusfall is reportedly being developed using Unreal Engine 5<\/strong>, and the first gameplay footage certainly shows the studio aiming for a visually ambitious experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
