Capcom has officially announced a new 40-minute Spotlight presentation for Tokyo Game Show 2026<\/a>, with the publisher promising the latest news on its upcoming games and major releases when the show airs on September 16.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the biggest candidates for the presentation is the previously announced Resident Evil: Code Veronica remake<\/strong>. Capcom has already enjoyed enormous success with Resident Evil Requiem<\/strong> this year, which became the fastest-selling entry in the franchise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Requiem now available, attention can increasingly shift toward what’s coming next for Resident Evil. Code Veronica would therefore be an obvious candidate for another trailer or development update during Tokyo Game Show. There’s also the possibility of additional Resident Evil Requiem content.
