4A Games has officially announced that Metro 2039<\/a> will launch on February 4, 2027, for PS5, Xbox and PC, alongside the first look at the post-apocalyptic shooter’s console gameplay.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The release date was revealed during the latest PlayStation<\/a> State of Play<\/strong>, where Metro 2039 received a new trailer filled with combat, exploration and another look at its dark post-apocalyptic world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new trailer provided the first substantial look at Metro 2039 running on consoles<\/strong>, showcasing intense gunfights, atmospheric environments and new story details before ending with the February release date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The timing also puts Metro 2039 remarkably close to the eighth anniversary of Metro Exodus<\/strong>, which originally launched in February 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
