Insomniac Games is reportedly still developing its long-rumored standalone Venom game, despite previous speculation that the Marvel project had been canceled.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The latest update comes from industry insider NateTheHate<\/a><\/strong>, who claims the Venom game remains in development at Insomniac<\/a>. Neither Sony nor Insomniac has officially announced the project, meaning its current status should still be treated as unconfirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Venom Game Reportedly Hasn’t Been Canceled<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Rumors surrounding a standalone Venom game have circulated for years, particularly following the character’s major role in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More recently, uncertainty surrounding the project increased after comments from Miles Morales voice actor Nadji Jeter suggested that it was no longer happening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NateTheHate is now pushing back against those reports, claiming that Insomniac’s Venom project remains in development<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exactly what form the game will take, when it could launch, or where it fits into Insomniac’s wider Marvel universe remains unknown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Insomniac Is Currently Focused on Marvel’s Wolverine<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Insomniac’s immediate priority is Wolverine iz Marvela<\/strong>, which launches exclusively for PS5 on September 15, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The studio also has plans for another Spider-Man game, making Venom another potential piece of its growing collection of interconnected Marvel projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
