Call of Duty is preparing to close the book on its rebooted Modern Warfare storyline, with Activision <\/a>describing Modern Warfare 4 as the \u201cepic conclusion\u201d to the series that began in 2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The current era began with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in 2019<\/strong>, which rebooted the iconic subseries and introduced new versions of several familiar characters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That storyline continued through Modern Warfare<\/a> II and Modern Warfare III, with Modern Warfare 4 now positioned as its final chapter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
