A massive 192GB collection of Rockstar Games data has surfaced online, revealing cut GTA 5 content alongside early GTA 6 assets \u2014 but the files reportedly originate from the infamous 2022 Rockstar breach rather than a new hack.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The data has apparently existed since the 2022 breach but was previously circulated among a relatively small number of people. According to the report, distribution expanded in recent months before the files eventually became more widely available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Members of the GTA community are now digging through the enormous archive and uncovering material that was never previously made public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Early GTA 6 Map Assets Discovered<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

GTA content creator TJGM<\/a> has been documenting discoveries from the files, including what appear to be early GTA 6 map assets<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The assets are described as very low-quality renders but reportedly resemble locations and environments subsequently seen in official GTA 6 footage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Considering the age of the underlying data, these assets should not be considered representative of GTA 6’s current build.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GTA 5’s Canceled Liberty City Expansion Resurfaces<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One of the more significant discoveries relates to Rockstar’s abandoned plans for Liberty City in GTA 5<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A file named dlcliberty_game.dat151.rel<\/code> was reportedly imported into CodeWalker, revealing map-zone outlines for what appears to have been a Liberty City expansion. Based on those outlines, the proposed map may even have been larger than GTA 4’s version of Liberty City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A separate terrain test associated with the project was also discovered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More Details From the Canceled Agent Trevor DLC<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The files have also exposed additional material connected to GTA 5’s long-canceled Agent Trevor<\/strong> single-player DLC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Discovered assets reportedly include a spaceship location, space suits, Franklin inside an Arab mansion featuring a large underground area, and previously unseen mission names.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another discovery points toward an alternate version of Trevor’s death in which he crashes into a tank containing liquid nitrogen, freezes and eventually shatters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additional cut material includes dialogue involving GTA 4’s Brucie and Franklin<\/strong>, unused missions, vehicles and references to Michael appearing in an apparent Undead Nightmare-style scenario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The leak is still being examined, meaning additional discoveries could emerge as the community works through the 192GB archive. However, the material reportedly traces back to Rockstar’s 2022 data breach<\/strong>, which also resulted in 90 early GTA 6 development videos appearing online, rather than representing a newly compromised Rockstar build.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
