Konami’s Silent Hill franchise could be heading back to the big screen, with a new movie reportedly in development and veteran horror producer Roy Lee attached to the project.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most interesting detail is the involvement of Roy Lee<\/strong>, a prolific Hollywood producer with extensive experience in horror.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Resident Evil Producer Reportedly Attached to Silent Hill<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Lee’s credits include The Ring, The Strangers, Quarantine, It, Until Dawn, Weapons<\/strong> i The Long Walk<\/strong>, among numerous other productions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More recently, Lee produced the new Resident Evil movie directed by Zach Cregger<\/strong>, making his reported involvement with another major survival horror franchise particularly notable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Details about the new Silent Hill project remain extremely limited. There is currently no confirmed director, cast, release date or information about whether the movie will adapt an existing game or tell an original story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The report arrives shortly after Return to Silent Hill<\/strong>, the latest movie based on Konami’s franchise.
