Ubisoft has announced that Rainbow Six Mobile will shut down on January 15, 2027, ending the mobile shooter’s three-year run after 15 seasons of content.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another major mobile shooter is coming to an end, as Ubisoft <\/a>has confirmed plans to permanently close Rainbow Six Mobile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the announcement, Rainbow Six Mobile servers will go offline on January 15, 2027<\/strong>, making the game unavailable to play after that date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ubisoft thanked the community for its support and explained that the team will shift its focus toward other long-term projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rainbow Six Mobile Ends After 15 Seasons<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Rainbow Six Mobile was designed to bring the tactical gameplay of Ubisoft’s popular Rainbow Six franchise to smartphones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During its three-year lifespan, the game received 15 seasons of additional content<\/strong>, but Ubisoft has now decided to discontinue the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The shutdown follows similar decisions involving other major mobile shooters, including Apex Legends Mobile, Battlefield Mobile and Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another Setback for Ubisoft’s Mobile Strategy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Rainbow Six Mobile was part of Ubisoft’s broader strategy to bring established franchises to mobile platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The publisher previously explored mobile adaptations of several major properties, including Assassin\u2019s Creed<\/a>, Far Cry<\/a>, Rainbow Six<\/a> i The Division<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, some of those projects were cancelled before release, while Rainbow Six Mobile is now joining the growing list of discontinued mobile shooters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ubisoft has not detailed which future projects the Rainbow Six Mobile team will work on following the shutdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
