Popular co-op climbing game PEAK has received an official ESRB rating for PlayStation<\/a> 5, suggesting its long-awaited console release could be approaching.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of 2025’s biggest indie hits, PEAK, appears to be getting closer to its PlayStation 5<\/a> debut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A new ESRB listing<\/a> has rated the game E10+ (Everyone 10+)<\/strong> for PS5, marking a significant development following earlier confirmation that console versions were in development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PEAK PS5 Rating Reveals New Publisher<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The ESRB listing describes PEAK as a cooperative adventure in which players must climb mountains, collect equipment and survive dangerous environments on a mysterious island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interestingly, Skybound Games is listed as the publisher<\/strong> for the PS5 version, suggesting the company is involved in bringing the indie hit to consoles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PEAK was originally developed by Landfall and Aggro Crab, becoming a major success thanks to its cooperative climbing mechanics and unpredictable survival challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When Is PEAK Coming to PS5?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The developers previously confirmed that console ports were in development but emphasized that the process would take time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the release of The Final Ascent update on August 11, 2026<\/strong>, the team indicated it could dedicate more attention to bringing PEAK to additional platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although the new rating suggests progress toward release, an official PS5 launch date has not been announced<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
