CD Projekt Red has established a clear vision for Project Hadar, its mysterious new IP, after several years of development planning, although the game has yet to enter pre-production.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

CD Projekt Red<\/a> continues expanding its portfolio beyond The Witcher and Cyberpunk, with new updates on two upcoming projects: Project Hadar<\/strong> i Project Sirius<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an interview with Polish outlet PAP Biznes<\/a>, CD Projekt co-CEO Micha\u0142 Nowakowski discussed the progress of both games and the challenges involved in developing entirely new experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Project Hadar Has a Clear Vision but Remains in Early Development<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

First announced in 2022, Project Hadar represents CD Projekt Red’s first entirely original intellectual property, separate from its established franchises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Nowakowski, the studio has spent several years developing a coherent vision for the game’s world and its key elements<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With that foundation now established, work on the game itself has begun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, Project Hadar has not yet entered pre-production<\/strong>, meaning a full reveal or release is likely still some time away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CD Projekt Red has not announced the game’s setting, genre, platforms or release window.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Project Sirius Development Remains Cautious<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Nowakowski also addressed Project Sirius<\/strong>, the upcoming multiplayer-focused game set in Witcher <\/a>universe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He explained that adjustments to the development team’s size were partly necessary because the team had expanded beyond what was appropriate for the project’s current iteration stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Sirius represents a different type of game for the studio, CD Projekt Red intends to be particularly careful about revealing its features before they are ready.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, the company continues working on The Witcher 4<\/strong> and the next Cyberpunk installment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
