The Blood of Dawnwalker will receive a New Game Plus mode, with game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz confirming that the highly requested feature is already on the way.

Rebel Wolves has yet to reveal when New Game Plus will arrive or exactly how it will work, but Tomaszkiewicz gave players a clear answer during a recent YouTube stream.

“New Game Plus? Yes, it’s coming.”

When pressed for more information, Tomaszkiewicz reiterated that the mode is coming before adding:

“But I won’t tell you when.”

What Could New Game Plus Include?

For now, Rebel Wolves hasn’t detailed what players will carry over into a New Game Plus playthrough.

That leaves several important questions unanswered, including whether weapons, armor, skills and other character progression will transfer, whether enemies will become more difficult, and if the game’s 30-day time system will receive any adjustments.

The latter could be particularly interesting considering how central the time mechanic is to The Blood of Dawnwalker‘s structure, forcing players to make decisions about which quests and activities are worth spending their limited time on.

However, there is currently no confirmation that New Game Plus will change or remove the time system, and Tomaszkiewicz’s comments only confirm that the mode itself is coming.

No Release Date Yet

Rebel Wolves also hasn’t confirmed whether New Game Plus will arrive as part of a free update or another type of post-launch release.

The studio is continuing to support The Blood of Dawnwalker following its launch, while also beginning early work on the next chapter of the series.

For players already planning another journey through Vale Sangora, though, one thing is now certain: New Game Plus is officially coming to The Blood of Dawnwalker.
