Ubisoft has revealed the official patch notes for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Update 1.0.8, launching October 27 with New Game+, Nightmare difficulty and new rewards.
The update arrives at 14:00 UTC (15:00 CET) across PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, marking the game’s final major content update.

Black Flag Resynced New Game+ Features
New Game+ allows players to replay Edward Kenway’s adventure while retaining most of their progression, including:
- Weapons, tools, upgrades and unlocked outfits.
- Jackdaw upgrades, officer abilities and pets.
- Money, materials, hideout progression and Kenway’s fleet.
- Previously collected treasure maps and purchased items.
Players can complete up to five New Game+ playthroughs, with increasingly difficult enemies and stronger ships appearing each time.
The update also introduces Escudos, a new currency used to purchase exclusive outfits and cosmetic rewards.
Nightmare Mode and Additional Content
The new Nightmare difficulty significantly increases the challenge, introducing 1.8x enemy damage, shorter parry windows, faster detection and more dangerous naval encounters.
Additional content includes new community chests, returning assassination animations, outfits, pet skins and trinkets.
Update 1.0.8 also addresses gameplay bugs, quest progression issues and stability problems.
