Funcom has officially announced Conan Exiles Enhanced for PS5, bringing a major Unreal Engine 5 visual overhaul to the survival game in early 2027.
The enhanced edition, previously released on PC, introduces substantial graphical improvements, better performance and several quality-of-life changes.
Best of all, existing PS4 owners will receive the PS5 upgrade completely free.
Conan Exiles Enhanced Brings Unreal Engine 5 Improvements
According to the official PlayStation Blog announcement, the upgraded version uses Unreal Engine 5 technologies, including Nanite and Lumen global illumination.
Players can expect improved environmental detail, lighting and overall visual quality compared to the original PS4 release.
The enhanced edition also introduces:
- Improved performance and an updated user interface.
- Additional quality-of-life improvements.
- Full transfer of previously purchased DLC and Bazaar items.
- Streamlined travel between the Exiled Lands and Isle of Siptah expansion.
All previously purchased additional content will remain available after upgrading.
Conan Exiles Enhanced launches on PS5 in early 2027, although Funcom has not announced an exact release date.
The publisher also confirmed that its floating-island survival adventure, Aloft, will arrive on PS5 during the same period.
