Bethesda is updating the DOOM Anthology to include DOOM: The Dark Ages Premium Edition, bringing the Slayer’s modern saga and classic adventures together in one digital bundle.
Starting September 14, the Steam version of DOOM Anthology will include The Dark Ages Premium Edition. A new version of the collection is also available for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
DOOM Anthology Now Includes The Dark Ages
The updated DOOM Anthology contains seven releases spanning more than three decades of the franchise:
- DOOM + DOOM II
- DOOM 64
- DOOM 3
- DOOM (2016)
- DOOM Eternal Deluxe Edition
- DOOM: The Dark Ages Premium Edition
The inclusion of the Premium Edition makes the collection a significantly more complete package for players looking to experience the modern Slayer storyline alongside the classic DOOM games.
PS4 and Xbox One Versions Are Being Delisted
Alongside the update, the existing PS4 and Xbox One DOOM Anthology bundles are being removed from their respective digital storefronts.
This doesn’t affect players who already purchased the previous-generation version. Existing owners will still be able to download and play the games included with their original purchase.
However, the updated DOOM Anthology featuring DOOM: The Dark Ages Premium Edition is only available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam.
