Gears of War: E-Day has officially gone gold, with The Coalition confirming pre-install details ahead of Early Access on October 1 and the worldwide launch on October 6.
Studio Head Mike Crump announced the milestone through Xbox Wire, confirming that development has reached the stage required for the game’s release build.
“Today, I’m proud to share that Gears of War: E-Day has officially gone gold, marking a major milestone for the team as we enter the final stretch toward launch.”
Gears of War: E-Day Pre-Install Starts September 29
Pre-installation begins September 29 at 8am PT / 15:00 UTC across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC and Steam.
Players with the Premium Edition can begin playing up to five days early when Early Access starts on October 1 at 8am PT / 15:00 UTC.
The worldwide release follows on October 6 at 8am PT / 15:00 UTC, when Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members can also begin playing.
Full PC Requirements Also Revealed
The Coalition has also published the final PC specifications, following additional stability and performance work after the Multiplayer Open Beta in July.
Gears of War: E-Day will launch for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC and Steam, and will be available through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass from day one. Players can also find additional launch information on the official Gears of War website.
