The free demo is available now on Steam, although progress will not carry over to the full game when it launches.

Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival now has a playable demo on Steam, giving players their first hands-on experience ahead of the horror game’s October 8 release.

Developer Saber Interactive released the demo alongside a new Scarlet Church trailer, introducing the disturbing cult players will encounter during the game.

The Scarlet Church is attempting to create what it calls a “debauched paradise for mankind” within Clive Barker’s vision of Hell, with the new trailer offering another extremely graphic look at the game’s violence, gore and horror.

Hellraiser: Revival Demo Available Now

The Steam demo allows players to explore the shifting Labyrinth and confront the Scarlet Church after the group takes possession of the Genesis Configuration, a puzzle box central to the game’s story.

It also introduces the main characters alongside the fundamentals of combat, crafting and puzzle-solving.

Progress made during the demo will not carry over to the full game.

Hellraiser: Revival is currently available to pre-order, with both standard and Deluxe Editions offering the Labyrinth Pistol Skin and Martyr Sawblade Skin as pre-order bonuses. Two Collector’s Editions featuring licensed physical collectibles are also available.
