IO Interactive has teased a new free DLC for 007 First Light, with its reveal and release both scheduled for October 1.
The developer confirmed the upcoming content through the official 007 First Light X account, telling players that “a free DLC is just around the bend.”
According to the game’s official website, the DLC will become available on October 1, when IO Interactive will also reveal more information about what it includes.

Could the DLC Be Related to the Bawma Mission?
IO Interactive hasn’t confirmed the content of the DLC yet, but the teaser video prominently features a car driving along a scenic road, potentially pointing toward driving-related content.
One possibility is the previously announced Bawma Will Return mission featured on 007 First Light’s Year One roadmap.
That mission will take Bond back to Aleph’s black market in Mauritania and includes off-road encounters designed to test the player’s driving skills. However, IO Interactive has not confirmed that the October 1 DLC is the Bawma mission, so the connection remains speculation for now.
007 First Light has already received free post-launch content. Update 1.1.0 introduced two additional TacSim missions, a new weapon and new cosmetics, while IO Interactive has promised further Tactical Simulation Mode content throughout the game’s first year.
More details about the new free DLC will be revealed on October 1.
