Insomniac Games has released Marvel’s Wolverine update 1.001.006, giving players more control over Senses by allowing several collectible-related visual and audio clues to be completely disabled.
The new hotfix follows an earlier update that reduced the intensity of Scent Trails following player feedback. Insomniac has now gone further by introducing dedicated toggles for several types of assistance.
Players can individually disable Senses indicators for:
- Whisky Bottle Scent Trails
- Material Crate Audio Clues
- Nightmare Door Roots
Importantly, Senses required for story progression will continue to appear, regardless of these settings.
Wolverine Update 1.001.006 Also Fixes Crashes and Photo Mode
Beyond the new accessibility and customization options, the update addresses several crashes identified through player reports and crash logs.
Insomniac has also fixed an issue that could leave Wolverine stuck while sliding down a tree during The One That Got Away mission, alongside misaligned claws appearing in Photo Mode.
A rare issue causing objects to turn white after extended play sessions has also been addressed.
Interestingly, the patch fixes an overlapping bathroom sign inside the casino caused by a UV mapping problem. The visual issue previously led to online speculation that AI-generated assets had been used in the game, something an Insomniac representative denied.
