Ubisoft is reportedly planning to release a Director’s Cut version of Watch Dogs: Legion during the first half of 2027, with around 100 developers said to be working on the project.
Watch Dogs may not be completely dormant after all.
Prema novom izvješću od Insider Gaming, Ubisoft currently plans to release Watch Dogs: Legion Director’s Cut in the first half of 2027.
The project was first reported earlier this year, but this is the first indication of its planned release window.

Watch Dogs: Legion Is Getting Another Chance
Details about what exactly the Director’s Cut will change remain unclear.
The project has been described as a significant reworking of the original game rather than a simple current-generation upgrade, although Ubisoft has yet to officially announce it or reveal its new features.
Insider Gaming also reports that around 100 developers at Ubisoft Montreal are currently working on Watch Dogs: Legion.
The original game launched in 2020 and introduced its ambitious “Play as Anyone” system, allowing players to recruit and control NPCs throughout its near-future version of London.
The report arrives shortly after Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot addressed the future of Watch Dogs, saying the franchise remains important to Ubisoft despite not currently belonging to one of the company’s new Creative Houses.
For now, Watch Dogs: Legion Director’s Cut remains unannounced, and its reported first-half 2027 release window could still change.
