Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced New Game+ Arrives Next Week, Ubisoft Confirms

Ubisoft has officially confirmed that New Game+ is coming to Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced next week, giving players another reason to return to Edward Kenway’s Caribbean adventure.

Following months of anticipation, Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced will finally receive its long-awaited New Game+ mode.

The feature was first discussed in July 2026, when Ubisoft identified it as one of its priorities for post-launch support.

Now, more than three months later, the developer has confirmed that the update is arriving during the final week of October.

Black Flag Resynced New Game+ Confirmed for Next Week

Ubisoft shared the announcement through the official Assassin’s Creed X account.

The post features Edward Kenway recreating Leonardo DiCaprio’s famous toast from The Great Gatsby, celebrating the upcoming addition.

New Game+ will give players an opportunity to revisit the story and explore the Caribbean again after completing their initial playthrough.

However, Ubisoft has not yet detailed exactly which upgrades, equipment or progression elements will carry over into subsequent playthroughs.

An exact release date for the update has not been announced.

Black Flag Resynced Continues Receiving Post-Launch Support

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced launched earlier in 2026, rebuilding the original pirate adventure with several gameplay improvements.

The remake features:

  • Reworked combat mechanics.
  • Improved stealth systems.
  • Updated gameplay and quality-of-life features.
  • Additional content beyond the original release.

The arrival of New Game+ should provide more replay value for players who have already completed Edward Kenway’s adventure.

Could Black Flag Resynced Receive an Expansion?

Earlier this month, footage reportedly surfaced showing content removed during the game’s development.

The discovery has led to speculation that Ubisoft could eventually introduce additional content through a future expansion.

However, no expansion has been officially announced, and the unused material does not confirm that new DLC is in development.

For now, players can look forward to New Game+ arriving next week, with further details expected from Ubisoft ahead of the update.
