Bloober Team has officially announced Cronos: Lazarus, a new story expansion for Cronos: The New Dawn, launching December 3, 2026, on PS5 for $9.99.
The upcoming DLC serves as a prequel to the original survival horror game, exploring events that took place before the main story.
Cronos: Lazarus Introduces New Story and Combat Abilities
In Lazarus, players take control of the Pathfinder, experiencing the events that eventually transform the character into the Warden.
The story introduces a dangerous new threat known as the Tracker, an agent of the Collective determined to prevent the Pathfinder from completing a secret revival mission.
Bloober Team promises a more aggressive combat experience, encouraging faster reactions and tactical decision-making.
The expansion introduces several new gameplay features:
- Teleportation: A new ability designed to expand combat possibilities.
- Decoys: Tools for distracting enemies and creating tactical opportunities.
- Gladius handgun: An upgraded version of the original game’s pistol.
A new trailer also offers a first look at the expansion’s environments, enemies and combat.
