Microsoft has reportedly secured exclusive cloud gaming rights for GTA 6, potentially making Xbox Cloud Gaming the only streaming service offering Rockstar’s game at launch.
Prema novom izvješću od The Verge’s Tom Warren, Xbox CEO Asha Sharma discussed the arrangement during an internal company meeting, teasing that Xbox has something involving GTA 6 that “no other platform holder is doing.”
The deal reportedly gives Microsoft exclusive rights to offer Grand Theft Auto 6 through Xbox Cloud Gaming.
GTA 6 Could Be Streamed to PC Through Xbox Cloud Gaming
The arrangement could technically allow PC users to stream the Xbox version of GTA 6 through Microsoft’s cloud gaming service at launch.
However, this would not constitute a native GTA 6 PC release, and the report does not confirm exactly how Microsoft intends to make the game available through Xbox Cloud Gaming.
The duration of Microsoft’s reported streaming exclusivity is also currently unknown.
Neither Microsoft nor Rockstar Games has officially announced the partnership, meaning further details about availability, supported devices and the exclusivity period remain unclear.
Grand Theft Auto 6 launches November 19, 2026, for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
