Supermassive Games, the studio behind Until Dawn and The Dark Pictures Anthology, has reportedly laid off more than 70 employees as part of previously announced restructuring.
The studio confirmed in August that job cuts were coming as it attempted to reduce costs and ensure the long-term sustainability of the company. Those layoffs have now begun.

More Than 70 Supermassive Games Employees Leave
Former IT and Facilities Director Frank Tindle, who spent 16 years at Supermassive Games, said that more than 70 employees are leaving the studio.
According to Tindle, the cuts affect developers, artists, producers, QA, operations and other departments across the company.
Supermassive previously described the restructuring as necessary to “ensure the sustainability of the company,” indicating the layoffs are part of the cost-cutting measures announced earlier this year.
The studio is best known for Until Dawn i The Dark Pictures Anthology, alongside titles including The Quarry.
The layoffs come amid continued restructuring and job losses across the video game industry, with numerous studios reducing their workforces in recent years.
