Introduction
The Marvel’s Wolverine platinum is straightforward. Your main task is to finish the story while collecting 102 items: 68 Material Crates, 20 Whisky Bottles, and 14 Nightmare Doors. Along the way, you can work on combat trophies and complete the interactions tied to specific missions.
Nothing is permanently missable. Mission replay becomes available after you encounter the second Nightmare Door, and you can use the Nightmare Cabin to return to missions after finishing the story.
Step 1: Finish the Story and Collect Everything
Play through the campaign and pick up collectibles as you go. Material Crates provide resources for crafting suits, while Whisky Bottles and Nightmare Doors contribute to your Adaptation progress. Finding all 14 Nightmare Doors also prepares you for the hidden trial that becomes available after the story.
Keep these points in mind during your playthrough:
- Choose any difficulty. No trophy requires a particular setting. You can earn the platinum on “The Man.”
- Use objective guidance when needed. Press R3 to display a marker for your main objective.
- Break XP Caches as you find them. Destroying 100 earns Cache Crusher. There are more than you need, so you can finish this through mission replay.
- Complete Nightmare Trials at your own pace. A Bronze rating is enough for the hidden trial requirement. You only need an Adamantium rating on one trial for Adamantium Dreams.
It is also worth completing the short mission specific trophies when you reach their locations. The individual trophy entries below show where to get them, and you can replay their missions if you move on too soon.
Step 2: Unlock the Hidden Memory
After completing the story, return to the Nightmare Cabin. Once you have found all 14 Nightmare Doors and earned at least Bronze in their trials, a fifteenth trial called “Best There Is” appears.
Earn at least Bronze in that trial. The cabin will then open; head outside and follow the scent trail to unlock the hidden memory and the Repressed Memories trophy.

Step 3: Clean Up Remaining Trophies
Interact with the bed in the Nightmare Cabin to replay missions and collect anything you missed. Collectible progress carries over, so you do not need to start a new playthrough.
Use replay to finish location specific trophies, combat totals, and Ultimate Predator if you still need XP to reach Level 36. New Game Plus is available after the story, but the platinum does not require it.

Ultimate Predator

Defeating enemies, interacting with certain objects, and destroying XP Caches all award experience. You may reach Level 36 during the story. If you finish a little short, replay missions from the Nightmare Cabin until you have enough XP. I highly recommend destroying as many XP caches when you see them.
Suit Up
Craft your first Suit
Collect the required materials and craft your first suit.
The suit crafting tutorial during Homecoming awards this trophy automatically.
Adamantium Armory
Craft enough suits to fully upgrade your Health
Craft enough suits to unlock every Health upgrade.
Craft 20 standard suits using materials from Material Crates. The suits become available through story progress, so you can finish crafting them after the campaign. Deluxe Edition suits do not count toward this trophy.
Secondary Mutations
Reach Adaptation Level 10
Earn Adaptation progress until you reach Adaptation Level 10.
Adaptations become available during Homecoming mission. Complete Nightmare Doors and collect Whisky Bottles to increase your Adaptation Level; check your progress in the Adaptation menu. You can reach Level 10 without collecting every bottle or earning the highest rating in every trial.
Crate Collector
Collect all Material Crates
Find and collect all 68 Material Crates.
Find all 68 Material Crates across the game.
But a Dram
Collect first Whisky Bottle
Find and collect your first Whisky Bottle.
Pick up any Whisky Bottle to unlock this trophy.
Full Barrel

Find all 20 Whisky Bottles.
Ground Control
Push 3 enemies out of the plane
During the plane sequence, push three enemies out of the aircraft.
During Jetlag, you will fight inside the damaged plane after climbing back aboard. Attack enemies near the openings in its walls so the wind pulls them outside. Repeat until three have fallen out. I got it really without thinking too much.
Cut Just As Deep
Kill 100 enemies with the Helix Claws
Defeat a total of 100 enemies using the Helix Claws.
The Helix Claws unlock through the story at the end of Death Comes to Death. Use their area attack regularly once available. Only kills count, so weakened groups are good targets. You can finish the tally through mission replay or Nightmare Trials. PRO TIP – switch difficulty from normal to story, then I was able to kill enemies with the blast, on normal you can just stun them, or if they are weakened you can then kill them.
That’s Cheating
Free the stuffed animals from the claw machines
Find the claw machines and free the stuffed animals trapped inside them.
In In the Shadows, the story takes you through an arcade. Break its claw machines with melee attacks to release the toys. You can do this during or after the fight there.
Poseidon’s Kiss
Activate the kissing toilet in the Tokyo bar bathroom
Enter the bathroom in the Tokyo bar and interact with the kissing toilet.
During Get Angry, you enter the Sleepy Kiss bar while following Jean’s vision. Go downstairs, enter the bathroom on the right, and interact with the face on the wall. Wait for the short sequence to finish.
Cache Crusher
Destroy 100 XP Caches
Destroy a total of 100 XP Caches across the game.
Break the XP Caches you find throughout missions. There are more than enough, and mission replay lets you continue after the story. I highly recommend destroying as many of them to easier get to level 36.
Parry Perfected
Parry 500 times
Successfully parry enemy attacks 500 times.
Parry attacks marked by a blue glow using L1. This is a cumulative total across combat encounters. Replay missions or enter Nightmare Trials if you still need parries after finishing the story.
Saturn Slam
Drop Saturn onto The Hand in Japan
During the Japan encounter, use the environment to drop Saturn onto members of The Hand.
Early in We Were Wrong, you enter a room with planets suspended above enemies. Cut the rope holding Saturn while enemies are beneath it. Taking out the enemy on the left quietly first gives you time to set up the drop.
Waking Nightmare
Discover a Nightmare Door “in the wild”
Find and discover your first optional Nightmare Door in the world.
This unlocks through story progress in The One That Got Away, when you encounter a Nightmare Door required to continue.
Pathways of the Mind
Discover all Nightmare Doors
Find and discover all 14 Nightmare Doors.
Find all 14 Nightmare Doors.
Adamantium Dreams
Achieve Adamantium on any Nightmare Trial
Earn an Adamantium rating on any Nightmare Trial.
Earn the highest rating in one Nightmare Trial. You do not need an Adamantium rating in every trial. Lowering the difficulty can make the combat challenges easier if you are struggling with the score.
Repressed Memories
Unlock the hidden memory in Nightmare Trials
Complete the necessary Nightmare Trial objectives to unlock the hidden memory.
Find all 14 Nightmare Doors and earn at least a Bronze rating in each trial. After the story, complete the additional “Best There Is” trial in the Nightmare Cabin with at least a Bronze rating. Then leave the cabin and follow the scent trail to the hidden memory.
Spiral Cut
Kill 75 enemies with Tornado Spin
Defeat a total of 75 enemies using Tornado Spin.
Tornado Spin unlocks during the prologue and is activated with L2 + Square. The move needs to deliver the finishing blow for a kill to count. Use it against weakened enemies whenever its cooldown ends; mission replay and Nightmare Trials provide more opportunities.
Blindsided
Stealth kill 10 enemies blinded by Jean
While fighting alongside Jean, stealth-kill 10 enemies affected by her blinding ability.
Jean’s blinding ability becomes available late in We Were Wrong. While sneaking with her, use R1 to stagger an enemy, then perform a stealth takedown. The early forest encounters in Hell Followed With Him offer several targets, and you can replay the mission or restart a checkpoint to build the total.
Harmer’s Market
Destroy all vendor stalls during the Sabretooth boss fight
During the Sabretooth boss fight, destroy every vendor stall before finishing the encounter.
At the beginning of the Sabretooth fight in Red Right Hand, slash every stall in the market arena. If you leave one standing, replay the mission from the Nightmare Cabin after the story.
Shish Kebab
Impale an enemy on an environmental hazard
Use an environmental hazard to impale an enemy.
Hold Square to kick an enemy into a sharp object. One opportunity appears in The One That Got Away: after a long zipline, look for the forklift near the enemies where you land and kick one of them into it.
Greased
Read Callisto’s journal in her Vancouver garage
Find Callisto’s journal inside her Vancouver garage and interact with it.
In The One That Got Away, descend from the starting rooftop into the industrial area. At the far end, break the wooden panels marked “Do not enter”. Go inside and read the journal on the table to your right.
Recycled
“Defeat” a Reaver using molten metal
Use molten metal to defeat a Reaver.
In Raise Some Hell, you will enter a refinery room containing a large vat of molten metal. Engage the Reavers there, then hold Square to kick one into the vat.
