Amazon Prime Video’s hit adaptation of Fallout is getting an exciting new addition, as Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul has officially joined the cast for Season 3.
The news comes via a new report from Deadline, although details regarding Aaron Paul’s character remain completely under wraps for now.
Aaron Paul Joins Fallout Universe
Aaron Paul is best known for his iconic role as Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad, a performance that earned him multiple Emmy Awards and turned him into one of television’s most recognizable actors.
Outside of Breaking Bad, Paul has also appeared in projects such as:
Interestingly, Aaron Paul already has history with Kilter Films — the production company behind Fallout — thanks to his previous work on Westworld.
Naturally, fans are already speculating about what type of wasteland survivor, raider, Vault dweller, or Brotherhood member he could end up playing in the next season.
More Cast Members Promoted to Series Regulars
Alongside Aaron Paul’s casting announcement, Deadline also revealed that several recurring characters will now become series regulars moving forward.
These include:
- Annabel O’Hagan (Steph Harper)
- Dave Register (Chet)
- Frances Turner (Barb Howard)
With Season 2 already expanding the world significantly, it appears Season 3 will continue pushing deeper into Fallout lore and character development.
Fallout Series Continues to Grow
The live-action Fallout adaptation has quickly become one of Amazon’s biggest gaming television successes, attracting both longtime Fallout fans and completely new audiences.
Ahead of Season 3, one of the show’s stars recently even addressed whether the series could essentially become “Fallout 5” for fans while they continue waiting for Bethesda’s next mainline game.
Meanwhile, the Fallout franchise itself continues expanding in other ways too, including a brand-new mod that allows players to experience Fallout 1 directly through the Pip-Boy inside Fallout 4, as well as new collectibles like the upcoming Nuka-Girl statue from Gaming Heads.
