Fully upgrade the Jackdaw
INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Assassin’s Creed Black Flag RESYNCED!
This version comes with a completely new trophy list, and earning the Platinum Trophy is significantly easier and much less time-consuming than before.
One of the biggest improvements is the game’s economy. Money is now far easier to earn, eliminating the need to spend hours grinding, attacking fleets, and farming ships just to afford upgrades. Instead, you’ll earn plenty of Reales simply by exploring the world, opening the newly added chests, collecting hidden loot, and picking up treasures as you progress through the story.
Overall, progression feels much better balanced. By around the 10-hour mark, I had already upgraded the Jackdaw to nearly half of its maximum potential, while my Great Inagua hideout was almost fully upgraded, with only the main building remaining.
Be sure to check out the Tips & Strategies section below, where I’ll share the fastest and most efficient ways to unlock every trophy.
At the top of this guide, you’ll also find my Review and a link to my YouTube channel, where you can follow along with my complete video guides if you get stuck at any point during your journey to Platinum.
STEP 1 – Play through main story and just enjoy
If you’re playing Assassin’s Creed Black Flag RESYNCED for the first time, simply sit back and enjoy the journey. It’s still one of the best entries in the franchise.
For returning players, this classic has never felt better. The removal of traditional Animus sequences, lengthy loading screens, and frequent interruptions between missions makes the experience far more seamless. The story now flows in a much more linear and immersive way, allowing you to stay focused on Edward’s adventure without constantly being pulled out of the game.
That said, the narrative still references the original Animus sequences, and several trophies will unlock naturally as you progress through the main story. There’s no need to worry about missing them—just play through the campaign at your own pace.
STEP 2 – Clean up remaining trophies
Once you’ve finished the main story, it’s time to focus on the remaining miscellaneous and collectible trophies. Fortunately, most of them are straightforward and can be completed while freely exploring the open world.
During this step, you should aim to:
- Capture all forts.
- Find every portrait and complete the Art Collection in your mansion.
- Play and win at every table game.
- Complete at least one Templar Hunt sequence.
- Finish all shipwrecks while collecting every chest found within them.
- Recruit all officers.
- Find all seven friendly animals.
- Shoot down every hanging body in Long Bay.
- Visit every discoverable location in the game.
By the time you’ve completed these objectives, you’ll have earned the vast majority of the remaining trophies and be only a few steps away from unlocking the Platinum Trophy.
STEP 3 – Upgrade Jackdaw to maximum and defeat all 4 legendary ships
Here you will probably seeking for the final resources to upgrade Jackdaw. For some upgrades you will need elite plans which can be found searching shipwrecks and treasure maps
TIPS & STRATEGIES
Loot the New Treasure Chests
The newly added treasure chests are one of the best sources of income in the game. Make sure to explore every island and settlement, as you’ll earn plenty of Reales without having to grind naval combat.

Complete the Kenway’s Fleet Missions
Collect one of each ship type for Kenway’s Fleet and complete the available fleet missions whenever possible. They provide an excellent source of passive income, allowing you to earn money even while focusing on other activities.

Upgrade Your Tools Early
Crafting upgrades are easier than ever thanks to the increased number of animals throughout the world. Gather the required pelts and materials whenever you come across wildlife, and you’ll unlock every tool upgrade with minimal effort.

Prioritize Upgrading the Jackdaw
Spend most of your early money on upgrading the Jackdaw. Reaching around half of its maximum upgrades is enough to comfortably handle most naval encounters, making it much easier to earn additional money and resources without excessive grinding later in the game.

Hunt for Treasure Maps
Treasure Maps are more valuable than ever. Besides rewarding you with large amounts of money, several lead to unique weapons, outfits, and important ship upgrades that will make your journey significantly easier.

Don’t Ignore Collectibles
Collect Mayan Stelae, synchronize viewpoints to unlock Fast Travel, gather Secrets, and complete Treasure Maps whenever you can. Some treasures reward important Jackdaw upgrades, while Animus activities grant Keys that can be exchanged for high-quality Animus gear.

Sell Your Extra Goods
Unlike the original game, you no longer need to worry about accidentally selling materials required for ship upgrades. Simply visit any vendor, open the Sell tab, and sell your unwanted goods and trinkets for a quick cash boost.

Complete Assassin Contracts
Assassin Contracts are short, usually taking around five minutes each, and reward a generous amount of money. They’re one of the fastest and easiest ways to build up your finances throughout the game.

Purchase the first upgrade of your manor! (FREE MONEY)
One of the best new additions is the Money Box, which becomes available after purchasing your first Manor upgrade (Facade). Once unlocked, it generates 2,000 Reales every 30 minutes, which you can collect at any time. As you continue upgrading your hideout and constructing additional buildings, the Money Box’s capacity increases, making it a great source of passive income that’s well worth investing in early.

Do shipwrecks as soon as you can
As soon as you get your hands on diving bell do the shipwrecks. They are tied to the trophy Lord of the seven seas and for that trophy you need to loot all underwater chest. So if you already need to do that you might do it immediately because each chest gives you 1000 reales and there are up to 11 chests in shipwrecks which means you can get a lot of money very early!

Purchase Altair’s Blade and Naoe Katana from Animus Hub
Both of them are one of the strongest weapons in the game! As the game heavily rellies on parrying and takedowns, I was using Altair’s swords because takedowns replenish health!

CHANGE IN ANIMUS HUB
We can finally see what the Animus Hub was truly designed for. One of its biggest improvements is the ability to progress through multiple Projects across different Assassin’s Creed games while sharing the same pool of Keys.
A great example is that you can return to Assassin’s Creed Shadows and complete its available Projects to earn additional Keys. Since Keys are shared across the Hub, you can build up your currency much faster before diving into Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.
This allows players to unlock premium rewards much earlier, including legendary weapons such as Altaïr’s Sword, Ezio’s Sword, and Naoe’s Katana, making the Animus Hub feel much more connected across the entire Assassin’s Creed ecosystem.
Bottom line: if you’ve already played Assassin’s Creed Shadows, don’t forget to go back and claim those easy Keys for completing quests—they’ll give you a great head start in Black Flag Resynced.

Prizes, Plunder, and Adventure!
Win every trophy
Unlock every other trophy in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced to earn the Platinum.
Last To Leave
Take a seat on a burning ship
Burning ships are random encounters in Black Flag RESYNCED, making this one of the more luck-based trophies. Not every burning ship has a chair on its deck, so you’ll need to find one that does. Before boarding, use your Spyglass to check whether a chair is visible on the deck. If there isn’t one, simply restart the checkpoint and wait for another burning ship to spawn. Once you find a burning ship with a chair, board it and sit down to unlock the trophy.
King of the Castle
Capture all forts
In general, the larger forts located in the southern part of the Caribbean are the most challenging, featuring tougher enemy types and larger garrisons. If you’re struggling, return later after upgrading Edward’s gear and unlocking additional combat abilities.

- Castillo de Jagua — 356, 559

- Serranilla — 347, 140
The Memory of My Enemy
Display all character portraits in the Great Inagua mansion
GUIDE IN PROGRESS* To unlock this trophy, you must collect and display every Character Portrait inside the Great Inagua mansion. Most portraits are obtained automatically by progressing through the main story, while others are rewarded for completing side questlines, including several of the new missions added in Black Flag RESYNCED. Once every portrait has been collected and displayed in the mansion, the trophy will unlock.
- Julien du Casse — Main Quest
- Laurens Prins — Main Quest
- Blackbeard — Side Mission
- Chamberlaine — Main Quest
- Stede Bonnet — Side Mission
Dilettante
Fill all Art Collection and Equipment slots in the Great Inagua manor
To unlock this trophy, you must fill every Art and Equipment display slot inside your mansion at Great Inagua. It’s recommended to prioritize fully upgrading the Jackdaw first, as this will make earning Reales much easier. Once you have enough money, purchase weapons, paintings, decorations, and other collectibles from vendors throughout the game and place them in the appropriate display slots inside the mansion. After every available slot has been filled, the trophy will unlock automatically. Also check the world and its locations for special loot, you will be able to find secrets throughout world which also include art and weapons.
Governor
Restore all buildings in the Great Inagua village
Your Great Inagua Hideout becomes available during Sequence 4 and serves as your main base of operations. Unlike the original game, Resynced introduces several new buildings, giving you more ways to improve your hideout and unlock useful features such as the Money Box, Treasure Dealer, and additional passive income. While upgrading the hideout isn’t required early on, it’s highly recommended to invest in it throughout your playthrough. To unlock this trophy, purchase every available hideout upgrade. MANSION UPGRADES ARE NOT NEEDED FOR THIS TROPHY, BUT I DO RECOMMEND THEM
- Harbourmaster — 8,000 Reales
- General Store — 8,000 Reales
- Tavern — 100 Reales
- Campfire — 6,000 Reales
- Brothel — 6,000 Reales
- Treasure Dealer — 5,000 Reales
- Fisherman’s Wharf — 5,000 Reales
Total Cost: 38,100 Reales
Zero Waste
Restore a map from map pieces
To restore treasure maps, you must first unlock the Treasure Dealer by constructing the appropriate building at your Great Inagua hideout. The Treasure Dealer offers exclusive items and a Map Restoration service. Restoring maps requires Reales and various resources, such as Tobacco, which can be obtained by boarding ships or completing Kenway’s Fleet missions. Restore every available map piece to unlock the trophy.
Grandmaster
Win at each of the different tavern games
To unlock this trophy, you must win one match in each of the three tavern board games. Only the 1-star (Easy) difficulty is required, so there’s no need to complete the harder 2-star or 3-star versions. If the game table isn’t available when you enter a tavern, purchase a drink at the bar to trigger a bar fight. After defeating the enemies, the board game will become available. Each game includes a tutorial the first time you play.
- Nine Men’s Morris
- Checkers
- Fanorona
Articles Of Agreement
Ensure the survival of all pirates in a street fight
This activity returns from the original game and was once one of the most important ways to earn Crew. You’ll occasionally encounter pirates being attacked by Privateers, and your objective is to rescue them. For this trophy, you must save every pirate during the encounter—none of them can die. The only enemies that should be defeated are the Privateers. Once you’ve successfully rescued the entire group, the trophy will unlock.
Among Thieves
Unlock a smuggler’s chest
To open a Smuggler’s Chest, you first need to locate one of the Smuggler’s Dens (Coves) scattered across the map. One easy example is Petite Caverne at coordinates (864, 237).
Before you can unlock the chest, you’ll need to obtain its key from the local smuggler. You can either kill him or pickpocket the key without being detected. Once you have the key, simply return to the Smuggler’s Chest and open it to make progress toward the trophy.
Help A Brother Out
Complete a Templar Hunt sequence
Templar Hunt missions become available after completing Act 1, roughly 3–4 hours into the main story. Once unlocked, you’ll notice new Templar Hunt icons appearing on the world map and in the quest menu. Just like in the original Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, you only need to complete one Templar Hunt sequence to unlock this trophy. However, if you’re aiming for 100% completion or want to unlock the Templar Outfit, you’ll eventually need to complete all Templar Hunt missions. Doing so rewards you with Templar Keys, which can be used to unlock the special armor inside your mansion at Great Inagua.
Seven Deadly Seas
Find all treasure chests in underwater shipwrecks
Explore every underwater shipwreck and collect all treasure chests found inside them. You will go for this definitely if you want to platinum the game because some wrecks and chest have special plans that allow you to proceed with upgrading your ship (ELITE PLANS)
Silence, Fool!
Kill a guard ringing a bell
This trophy can be earned in any restricted area that contains an alarm bell, such as a Warehouse. Every location marked with a house icon on the world map has a warehouse, while larger settlements like Kingston, Nassau, and others also feature restricted areas with alarm bells.
Start by eliminating the gunmen stationed on elevated platforms, as they can make this trophy unnecessarily difficult. Once they’re dealt with, allow the remaining guards to spot you. One of them will have a red bell icon above his head, indicating that he’ll attempt to alert reinforcements.
Let him reach the bell and begin ringing it. As soon as the animation starts, quickly draw your pistols and shoot him.
Matador
Dodge three charge attacks from a Wild Pig
This trophy is cumulative, meaning the three successful dodges do not have to be performed during a single encounter. To make a wild pig charge, keep your distance and watch its behavior. Before attacking, the pig will step backward, similar to a bull preparing to charge. Once it rushes toward you, press Circle (◯) at the right moment to perform a dodge. Successfully dodge the pig’s charge attack three times in total, and the trophy will unlock.
Perfect Predator
Get a perfect harpoon shot on a Great White Shark
During a Great White Shark harpooning activity, land a perfect harpoon shot. Perect harpoon shot means the moment your aiming pointer glows. Press R2 to start hitting the spear and the moment it glows release it.
Double Tap
Parry 2 Ocelots in rapid succession
On of the earliest opportunities is during the main mission This Tyro Captain. The location of this mission is on Abaco Island (582,808) so if you miss it, you can get back later. Trophy seems confusing at first and you don’t need to parry 2 ocelots, but 2 ocelot attacks consecutively. Whichh means only one ocelot is enough, but you can usually find them in pair. Parry with blue effect 2 times in a row and the trophy will unlock.
Owned
Complete every activity in a single location
This trophy is much easier than it sounds. You only need to achieve 100% completion in one location, not the entire game. Since there are 52 discoverable locations, simply choose one of the smaller islands with only a handful of activities.
Activities that count toward location completion include:
Viewpoints,
Chests,
Animus Fragments,
Shanties (Song Sheets),
Secrets (Bottles & Treasure Maps),
Assassin Contracts,
Taverns,
Mayan Stelae,
Once a location reaches 100% completion, its icon on the world map will change from white to gold, indicating that everything there has been completed.
One of the easiest locations for this trophy is Abaco island at coordinates (749, 625). It contains only a small number of collectibles and activities, making it an ideal choice.
Tip: Always synchronize the Viewpoint first. This instantly reveals every collectible and activity in the area, making cleanup much faster
The Hangman
Kill 10 enemies by hanging them with the rope dart
In Black Flag RESYNCED, you’ll unlock the Rope Dart much earlier than in the original game—during Sequence 3. To perform a hanging assassination, climb onto a tree branch positioned above an enemy. When an enemy walks underneath you, you’ll see two prompts: R1 to Hang and △ (Triangle) to perform a standard Air Assassination. Always choose R1 (Hang). Repeat this until you’ve performed 10 hanging kills in total. The trophy is cumulative, so the kills do not need to be completed in a single session. Once you reach your tenth hanging assassination, the trophy will unlock.
Caught ‘Em All
Catch at least 5 enemies within a single smoke bomb
This trophy is very straightforward. You simply need to catch 5 enemies with a single Smoke Bomb. One of the easiest opportunities comes early in the story during the Rescue the Sage mission. At one point, you’ll need to identify a guard carrying a key, and he’ll be surrounded by a large group of enemies. Wait until the guards are tightly grouped together, then throw a Smoke Bomb into the middle of the crowd. If at least 5 enemies are caught in the smoke at once, the trophy will unlock immediately. This is by far the simplest and earliest place to earn it.
Gun-kata
Use pistols to kill 4 enemies in a row within five seconds
The easiest way to earn this trophy is to upgrade your Pistol Holster to Level 4 as early as possible, allowing you to carry four loaded pistols at once. Hunt the required animals to gather the hides needed for the upgrade—it’s quick and easy in RESYNCED, thanks to the abundance of wildlife.
Once you’ve upgraded your holster, simply board an enemy ship. During the boarding sequence, enemies tend to gather in large groups, making this the perfect place to line up four quick kills. Pull out your pistols and fire as fast as possible to eliminate four enemies within the five-second time limit.
You’ll likely attempt this many times while boarding ships throughout the game, so don’t worry if you don’t get it immediately.
Tip: Better pistols deal more damage and make the trophy even easier. I personally used the Darkworker’s Pistols from the Deluxe Edition, but any high-damage pistol set will work just fine.
Backs To The Wall
Kill an enemy with a wall takedown
This is one of the easiest trophies in the game and will most likely unlock naturally during the story. To perform a Wall Takedown, fight an enemy while they’re standing with their back against a wall, staircase, or other solid surface. During combat, Edward will automatically slam the enemy into the surface, performing the special takedown. Since you’ll engage in countless melee fights throughout the game, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to trigger this move, making this an almost automatic trophy for most players.
Let Me Explain
After a perfect parry, perform a total of 4 takedowns
To unlock this trophy, you must perform four takedowns after executing a Perfect Parry. Before you can do that, you’ll need to obtain a pair of swords that give you 4 takedowns. These can be found through exploration or purchased from weapon vendors. In the Weapons menu, each sword lists its unique perks, including whether it provides Takedowns and how many of them are available. Equip a sword with the 4 takedowns, perform a Perfect Parry, then immediately follow it with a multiple takedowns. Repeat the process until you’ve successfully performed four takedowns to unlock the trophy.
Overdesign IV
Kick a berserk enemy caught in smoke off a ship
This trophy also seems confusing, however it is pretty simple. Step 1 is to board the ship and go very near to the deck and find one or two enemies close by. Step 2 is to throw a smoke bomb and they will be affected and stand still. Step 3 now is to again use L2 and use your berserk darts which can be switched between sleep darts (be sure to have the right one equipped). After you have hit one of the guys with berserks, now use R2 + SQUARE (kick) to push him over the deck, or if he doesn’t want to go over the deck, try doing the takedown as Edward will automatically push him over.
Lively Havana
Get a tour of Havana (complete Sequence 2, Memory 1)
This is a story-related trophy and cannot be missed. Simply progress through the main story until you complete Sequence 2, Memory 1, where Edward receives a guided tour of Havana. The trophy will unlock automatically upon completing the memory.
A Poxy Bird
Captain your own ship (complete Sequence 2, Memory 6)
This is a story-related trophy and cannot be missed. Continue progressing through the main story until you complete Sequence 2, Memory 6, where Edward officially takes command of his own ship, the Jackdaw. The trophy will unlock automatically at the end of the memory.
Walls That Hold Back The Wind
Settle in a new home (complete Sequence 4, Memory 1)
This is a story-related trophy and cannot be missed. Continue progressing through the main story until you complete Sequence 4, Memory 1, where Edward settles into his new home at Great Inagua. The trophy will unlock automatically upon completing the memory.
In A World Without Gold
Witness the end of a legend (complete Sequence 8, Memory 1)
This is a story-related trophy and cannot be missed. Simply continue progressing through the main story until you complete Sequence 8, Memory 1. The trophy will unlock automatically at the end of the memory.
Ever A Splinter
Stop a Templar plot (complete Sequence 12, Memory 5)
This is a story-related trophy and cannot be missed. Simply continue progressing through the main story until you complete Sequence 12, Memory 5. The trophy will unlock automatically upon finishing the memory.
All Hands On Deck
Recruit all Officers
In Black Flag RESYNCED, there are three Officers that can be recruited to join the Jackdaw. Each Officer has their own questline and grants a unique passive ability once recruited. The first two Officers become available after Sequence 4: This Old Cove, while Deadman unlocks much later after completing Sequence 11: Everything is Permitted and the quest A World Without Gold: I Just Want to Talk. Complete all three Officer questlines to unlock the trophy.
- The Padre — Man-at-Arms
Quest: A Second Chance - Lucy Baldwin — Shipwright
Quest: A Proper Shipwright - Tobias “Deadman” Smith — Weapon Master
Quest: No Box Dark Enough
Hungover
Wake up in a haystack
Visit any tavern and purchase a bottle of rum from the bartender for 5 Reales. Keep drinking until Edward has consumed five bottles in a single session. He’ll eventually pass out and wake up in a nearby haystack, unlocking the trophy. There’s no special requirement—any tavern in the game works.
Collective Madness
Add one of each ship class to Kenway’s fleet
To unlock this trophy, you must capture and own at least one of every ship type in Kenway’s Fleet. There are four classes of ships: Schooners, Brigs, Frigates, and Man O’ Wars. Each ship has different strengths, cargo capacity, and durability, making them better suited for specific trading routes. Capture one of each class by boarding enemy vessels and add them to your fleet. Once all four ship types have been collected, the trophy will unlock.
- Schooner — Fast and agile, best for high-risk routes with lower cargo requirements.
- Brig — Balanced ship with medium cargo capacity, ideal for short and medium voyages.
- Frigate — High firepower with solid cargo space, perfect for medium and long trading routes.
- Man O’ War — The strongest ship class, offering massive cargo capacity and exceptional durability for the most dangerous routes.
Strike The Colors
Board a Lead Convoy ship
Lead Convoy ships appear randomly on the world map and remain available for only a few minutes before disappearing. They’re easy to identify, as the main convoy ship is escorted by two additional ships. Simply defeat the escorts if needed and board the Lead Convoy ship to unlock the trophy. As an added bonus, you’ll receive 2,000 Reales for capturing it.
Unsinkable
Survive a rogue wave taken from the side
During a storm at sea, survive a rogue wave hitting the Jackdaw from the side. You might just need to upgrade your hull armor a bit, just to be able to survive. Also I would like to point out that I rarely encountered huge waves, so the first one you see it, go for it.
Yo Ho…
Learn a new shanty
This is one of the easiest trophies in the game. Every major city contains several Sea Shanties scattered across rooftops. Simply chase down and collect your first Sea Shanty to unlock the trophy. If it escapes, just try again or find another one nearby.
Return The Favor
Dash ram a ramming Brig
You will learn RAM ability (extra) from new officer Padre. You can use L1+R1 to use this ability. With spyglass you can find a brig. Use mortars from a far to get their attention. Once they start going for you, they will try to ram you. Use the ability first on them and the trophy will unlock.
Hunter Hunted
Defeat a Pirate Hunter when at max Wanted level
Raise your Wanted level to the maximum, then defeat a Pirate Hunter ship. There are many easy ships such as cutters and schooners, which when you are much stronger later, you can easily just ram and destroy. This will also gain your wanted level. You can also combine it with weekly animus quest for destroying 15 cutters. Once you are wanted level 4, two pirate hunters Man of wars will arrive. Definitely be ready for the battle because they are not easy. As soon as you notice them, try to use mortarts as much as you can, they will come near you already at half health. Now you can use ram or heavy shot to finish them off. One pro tip is that you can always leave one ship aside as stand by if you will need to repair ship.
Devil Of The Caribbean
Defeat all legendary ships
The Legendary Ships are the toughest naval encounters in Black Flag RESYNCED and should only be attempted once your Jackdaw is fully, or nearly fully, upgraded. Unlike regular enemy ships, these battles require careful positioning, effective use of your weapons, and proper resource management. There are four Legendary Ships, each located in one corner of the world map. Defeat all four to unlock this trophy. This time it is different than in original as you have officers and they enhance your battles with their abillities.
- HMS Prince
- La Dama Negra
- El Impoluto
- The Twin Ships — HMS Fearless & Royal Sovereign
Old Ironsides
Perform 3 perfect braces
To unlock this trophy, you’ll first need to complete Lucy’s Officer questline and recruit her to your crew. Once unlocked, equip her as an Officer to gain the Perfect Brace ability. During naval combat, perform three Perfect Braces by activating Brace at the last possible moment before an enemy attack hits. Successfully executing this three times will unlock the trophy.
Not So Little Friend
Unlock the secondary firing mode on a Jackdaw weapon
This is an automatic story related trophy that canno’t be missed. This is a new addition in Resynced.
Dressing Overall
Equip new cosmetics in each of the Jackdaw’s vanity slots
Visit the Jackdaw Customization menu and equip a cosmetic item in every available customization slot. The items don’t need to be expensive or match—simply having every slot filled with a cosmetic is enough to unlock the trophy.
Smooth Operator
Craft an Item
Crafting is an important part of progression, as it unlocks upgrades such as health, ammo pouches, pistol holsters, and other equipment. Hunt the required animals, collect the necessary pelts, and craft any upgrade from the Crafting menu. Your first crafted item will immediately unlock the trophy.
Business And Pleasure
Earn 50,000 Reales
This trophy is cumulative, meaning you don’t need to have 50,000 Reales at the same time. Every Real you earn throughout your playthrough counts toward the total. You’ll unlock this naturally while progressing through the story, completing side activities, and working toward other trophies, so there’s no need to grind specifically for it.
Ship This
Fully upgrade the Jackdaw
This is one of the longest and most time-consuming trophies in Black Flag RESYNCED. To fully upgrade the Jackdaw, you’ll need a large amount of Reales and crafting materials. Money can be earned through story missions, side activities, treasure hunting, the Money Box, and selling trade goods, while resources such as Metal, Wood, Cloth, and Tobacco are mainly obtained by boarding enemy ships and completing Kenway’s Fleet missions. Avoid selling these resources until you’ve finished upgrading the Jackdaw.
Unlike the original game, Elite Plans are no longer required. As long as you collect enough resources and Reales, you can purchase every available upgrade directly from the Captain’s Cabin aboard the Jackdaw or by visiting any Harbourmaster.
I recommend focusing on the Jackdaw before spending large amounts of money on mansion decorations or hideout upgrades. A fully upgraded Jackdaw makes naval combat significantly easier and will help you earn resources much faster throughout the rest of the game.
Glutton for Nourishment
Consume 20 food items
Food can be found throughout the world in the form of berries, fruit, soups, and other consumable items. Consume a total of 20 food items to unlock this trophy. Progress is cumulative, but keep in mind that Remedies (health potions) do not count, so focus on collecting and eating food found in the environment during your exploration.
Friend To All
Interact with all 7 friendly animals
To unlock this trophy, you must find and interact with all seven friendly animals scattered throughout the Caribbean. These encounters appear as World Events on the map, so whenever you spot an event icon, make it a priority to investigate it. Below you’ll find a complete video walkthrough and the locations of all seven friendly animals to help you unlock the trophy as quickly as possible.
Blow the Man Down
Shoot down all the hanging bodies in Long Bay
Visit Long Bay and shoot down every hanging body found in the area.
Davy Jones’s Locker
Swim to the lowest point in the map
Swim down to the lowest point available on the map.
Cartographer
Visit every location in the game
There are 52 locations to discover in total. A location only counts once you see the “Fast Travel Unlocked” notification, which usually requires synchronizing at least one viewpoint. It’s best to leave this trophy until after completing the main story, as several areas remain inaccessible until the later sequences. To track your progress, open the world map and look for greyed-out islands or icons—these indicate locations you haven’t visited yet.
Edward Catway
Break 50 potted plants
Break a total of 50 potted plants found on windowsills, balconies, rooftops, and around buildings throughout the game. You’ll encounter plenty of them while free-running through cities, so simply play normally and smash any pots in your path. With regular exploration, this trophy should unlock naturally without any dedicated grinding.
Ed the Diver
Swim a total of 1000m underwater, excluding underwater shipwrecks
Swim a total of 1,000 meters underwater outside of underwater shipwreck sections.
