A new report claims that both Resident Evil Requiem and the upcoming Resident Evil Code: Veronica Remake are set to receive large single-player story expansions after launch.

According to the insider, Capcom has recently decided to prioritize “major several-hour-long DLC story expansions” for both Resident Evil Requiem and Code: Veronica Remake.
The report suggests this approach is intended to fill the gap while the company currently has no Resident Evil spin-off titles actively in development.
If accurate, both games would receive substantial new story content rather than smaller cosmetic or challenge-based DLC packs.

Although both expansions are reportedly planned, players shouldn’t expect additional content for Resident Evil Requiem anytime soon.
