EA has officially unveiled EA Sports FC 27, confirming the game’s September 25, 2026 release date alongside the first gameplay trailer. While the reveal showcased several new gameplay features, much of the community’s attention has shifted to the game’s pricing—particularly the brand-new Ultimate Plus Edition, which has become the most expensive edition of a game EA has ever released.
Launching at $149.99, the Ultimate Plus Edition costs more than double the standard version and includes an extensive list of Ultimate Team bonuses, early access, and exclusive rewards.

The standard edition of EA Sports FC 27 will retail for $69.99, but players looking for every bonus can purchase the new Ultimate Plus Edition for $149.99.
To justify the higher price, EA is bundling a large amount of Ultimate Team content, including:

- Premium Season Passes for Seasons 1–5
- Up to 7 days of Early Access
- Hall of FUT Player Pick
- 10,000 FC Points distributed across five months

The cheaper Deluxe Edition includes fewer rewards, offering only the first Premium Pass and 6,000 FC Points spread over three months.
EA has also confirmed that many of the Ultimate Plus bonuses are only available to players who purchase the edition before August 31, creating a limited-time pre-order incentive.
EA FC 27 Launches September 25
Alongside the edition details, EA released the first gameplay trailer, officially confirming that EA Sports FC 27 launches on September 25, 2026.
The date matches previous leaks and continues EA’s tradition of releasing the series during the final week of September.
The Grounds Is EA FC’s Biggest New Mode
One of the headline additions this year is The Grounds, a brand-new social hub designed to connect players across multiple game modes.
