GTA 6 Unlock Times Revealed – Here’s When You Can Start Playing

GTA 6 is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, but PlayStation Store information indicates that players around the world won’t all gain access to Vice City at exactly the same moment.

Instead of one simultaneous global launch, GTA 6 appears set to unlock at different times depending on the player’s region, creating a gap of up to 19 hours between the earliest and latest launches.

New Zealand Players Get GTA 6 First

According to information displayed through regional PlayStation Stores, New Zealand will be among the first territories to unlock GTA 6.

The game becomes available there at midnight local time on November 19, which corresponds to 12:00 PM CET on November 18 for players in Central Europe.

That also creates a potential shortcut for some Xbox players. Changing an Xbox Series X|S console’s region to New Zealand has historically allowed players to access region-based midnight releases earlier.

PlayStation users don’t have the same simple option, as purchases and release access are tied more closely to the region of their PlayStation account.

GTA 6 Unlocks at Midnight in Central Europe

For players in our beloved Croatia and other countries using Central European Time, GTA 6 is currently scheduled to unlock at exactly midnight between November 18 and November 19.

That means players in the region should be able to start playing at:
