Gears of War: E-Day PC System Requirements Revealed

The Coalition has revealed the official PC system requirements for Gears of War: E-Day, detailing the hardware needed for 1080p, 1440p and 4K gameplay at 60 FPS or higher.

The upcoming Gears prequel requires 115GB of SSD storage across every configuration, while its minimum requirements target 1080p at 60 FPS using upscaling.

Three configurations have been provided: Minimum, Recommended and Ultra.

All three performance targets make use of DLSS, FSR, TSR or XeSS upscaling.

Ray Tracing, DLSS 5 and Ultrawide Support Confirmed

Gears of War: E-Day will also arrive with a substantial selection of PC-specific features.

The game supports Nvidia DLSS 5, AMD FSR 4 and Intel XeSS 3.0, alongside hardware ray-traced reflections, shadows and global illumination.

Players will also have access to advanced graphics settings and a built-in benchmark tool, while HDR and ultrawide displays are supported.

At the highest end, The Coalition recommends an RTX 5070 Ti or Radeon RX 7900 XT, paired with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D or Core i7-14700K, for 4K gameplay at 60 FPS or higher using upscaling.

With the requirements now available, PC players have a clear idea of the hardware they’ll need ahead of Gears of War: E-Day’s launch next month.
