Dying Light: The Beast is celebrating its first anniversary with a new physical release, three weeks of special events, free content and the game’s biggest discount yet.
Techland has outlined its anniversary plans one year after the return of Kyle Crane, with celebrations beginning on September 18.
One of the biggest announcements is a new physical release produced in partnership with Super Rare Games, including a limited Anniversary Edition packed with collectibles.
Dying Light: The Beast Anniversary Edition Revealed
Pre-orders for the physical edition open on September 18, with the Anniversary Edition including:
- Physical copy of Dying Light: The Beast
- Anniversary box
- Stickers, including glow-in-the-dark designs
- A4 hardcover artbook
- Woven patch
- Poster
- Pins
- Physical map
- Postcards
- Soundtrack
The Anniversary Edition will be produced in limited quantities.
Three Weeks of Anniversary Events
Techland is also preparing three weeks of in-game celebrations, including a double XP event and a dedicated Anniversary Event period beginning September 18.
Players will be able to participate in community goals and vote on rewards, while daily login drops will provide additional items throughout the celebration.
The Discharge Weapon Pack is also being offered free across all platforms from September 17 through September 24.
Dying Light: The Beast Gets 50% Discount
Players who haven’t entered Castor Woods yet will also have an opportunity to pick up the game at its lowest price so far.
Techland is offering a 50% discount from September 18 through September 26, marking the biggest sale for Dying Light: The Beast since its release.
The anniversary celebration follows a year of post-launch support that included the major Restored Land update in March, as Techland continues expanding The Beast beyond its original release.
