Remedy Entertainment has revealed its first post-launch plans for CONTROL Resonant, with New Game++ arriving in October and the highly requested Photo Mode following in November.

CONTROL Resonant launched this week, but Remedy is already looking ahead to its first major feature updates. The studio detailed the initial roadmap in a new official blog post.

The first addition will expand the game’s existing New Game+ system, while November will finally give players dedicated tools for capturing the Oldest House and Dylan in action.

New Game++ Arrives in October

CONTROL Resonant currently allows players to complete the game again through New Game+, but that progression effectively ends after the additional playthrough.

The October update will introduce New Game++, removing that limitation and allowing players to begin additional runs without deleting their existing progress.

Players will therefore be able to continue into additional playthroughs beyond New Game+ without having to delete their existing save progress.

Photo Mode Coming in November

Remedy will follow New Game++ with Photo Mode in November.

The developer says the feature has already been in development for some time and that it has consulted with talented virtual photographers from the community while designing the mode.

Exact Photo Mode features haven’t been detailed yet.

Remedy also confirmed that additional cosmetic items for Dylan are planned for future updates, with more information to be shared closer to their release.

For now, New Game++ and Photo Mode are the two major features confirmed as part of CONTROL Resonant’s initial post-launch plans.
