Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls has revealed its complete Year 1 DLC lineup, featuring Phoenix Cyclops, Jane Foster’s Thor, Venom and Jubilee, with new characters arriving through summer 2027.
Arc System Works has announced the upcoming DLC characters for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, alongside a release schedule covering late 2026 and the first half of 2027.
The announcement features promotional artwork created by Marvel artist Peach Momoko.
Marvel Tōkon Year 1 DLC Release Schedule
Four additional fighters are planned for the game’s first year of post-launch content:

Phoenix Cyclops is currently the only DLC fighter with a confirmed release date. More specific launch dates for the remaining characters have not been announced.
Why Phoenix Cyclops Was Chosen as the First DLC Fighter
In an official PlayStation Blog post, producer Takeshi Yamanaka explained why Cyclops was moved from the original roster to post-launch DLC.
The development team initially considered including Cyclops as part of the Unbreakable X-Men lineup but wanted to create a version that stood apart from his previous fighting game appearances.
That decision led to Phoenix Cyclops, featuring a redesigned appearance, distinctive Optic Blast attacks and Dark Phoenix-inspired gameplay.
Players will also have access to a more traditional Cyclops costume as an alternative.
With Venom, Jane Foster’s Thor and Jubilee joining the lineup throughout 2027, Arc System Works has now outlined its first full year of additional playable characters.
Further gameplay details and exact release dates are expected closer to each DLC launch.
