According to a Eurogamer report, two separate sources have claimed that a remastered version of the 2004 RPG is currently in development.

However, the project has not been officially announced.

Bloodlines Remaster Would Update the 2004 Original

The rumored project is described as a remaster rather than a full remake, suggesting that it would preserve the original game’s core experience while potentially introducing technical and visual improvements.

The original Bloodlines, developed by Troika Games, became a cult classic thanks to its atmospheric storytelling, branching dialogue and player-driven RPG mechanics.

However, one source reportedly warned that the project remains vulnerable to cancellation, meaning its eventual release is far from guaranteed.

No release date, platforms or specific improvements have been revealed.

Could Nightdive Studios Handle the Remaster?

Although no developer has been identified, Nightdive Studios has emerged as a speculative candidate due to its experience restoring classic games.

The studio has previously worked on modern releases of older titles, making it a possible fit for a Bloodlines remaster.

However, there is no evidence confirming Nightdive’s involvement, and potential console versions remain speculation.

The rumor also follows the disappointing reception of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, released in 2025 under publisher Paradox Interactive.
