Double Fine’s Keeper is now available on PS5 following a surprise shadow drop during the September 2026 PlayStation State of Play.

Previously available on Xbox Series X|S and PC, the unusual single-player adventure has officially made the jump to PlayStation, with PS5 players able to purchase and download the game immediately.

Keeper Is Available on PS5 Right Now

Rather than announcing a future release date, Double Fine and PlayStation used State of Play to shadow drop Keeper on PS5.

Keeper puts players in control of an animated lighthouse accompanied by a bird named Twig. Together, they travel through a strange post-apocalyptic world, solving environmental puzzles and avoiding threats along the way.

The game stands out through its unusual premise and largely wordless adventure, with the relationship between the lighthouse and Twig forming an important part of the journey.

The PS5 release also marks another former Xbox-published title making its way to Sony’s console after initially launching for Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Keeper is available now on PlayStation 5.
