It looks like PlayStation fans won’t have to wait much longer for Sony’s biggest annual sales event.
According to a new report from reliable insider Dealabs, the next Days of Play 2026 promotion is set to officially begin on May 27, bringing two weeks of discounts across games, accessories, and PlayStation hardware-related products.
Some of the rumored deals already sound pretty solid.
Days of Play 2026 Will Reportedly Run Until June 10
The report claims this year’s Days of Play event will last from May 27 through June 10, giving players a decent window to grab discounts before Sony’s summer lineup really starts heating up.
Interestingly, Dealabs also states that many of the offers are expected to be similar to the discounts seen during Black Friday 2025.
That means players should probably expect aggressive price cuts on accessories rather than massive discounts on consoles themselves.

PSVR2 Is Apparently Getting the Biggest Discount
Out of all the rumored offers so far, the biggest discount appears to be aimed at the PSVR2 headset.
According to the report, the device could receive a massive €100 price reduction, dropping it from €449.99 to €349.99.
Meanwhile, several other PlayStation accessories are also expected to receive discounts, including the:
- DualSense controller
- DualSense Edge
- Pulse Elite headset
- Pulse Explore earbuds
The standard DualSense controller is reportedly dropping to €54.99, while the premium DualSense Edge could fall by roughly €30.
Even Ghost of Yōtei Might Receive a Discount
One especially surprising detail from the leak is that Ghost of Yōtei could already be included in the promotion.
The report claims the game may receive a price drop down to €54.99 from its original €79.99 pricing.
That would be a pretty aggressive discount for such a major newer PlayStation release.
Don’t Expect Cheap PS5 Consoles This Time
Unfortunately, the report also claims there currently do not appear to be any planned discounts for:
Which honestly may disappoint players hoping for a major hardware sale.
The lack of console discounts is reportedly tied to Sony’s recent pricing adjustments and rising hardware costs across multiple regions.
PlayStation Plus Members May Get Extra Savings
The leak also mentions that PlayStation Plus subscribers could receive an additional 5% discount through PlayStation Direct purchases.
That bonus discount would reportedly stack on top of existing Days of Play offers.
At the moment, however, none of this has been officially confirmed by Sony yet.
An official announcement is reportedly expected on May 26 — just one day before the sale begins.
And honestly?
Considering Sony already confirmed a huge State of Play showcase for June 2, it really feels like PlayStation is preparing for a very busy start to the summer.
