Shenmue 3 Enhanced Now Launching in Early 2027
According to the publisher, development is progressing well, but the team needs more time to finalize the remaining improvements.
ININ Games confirmed that additional details will be shared soon, although an exact release date has not been announced.
Shenmue 3 Enhanced aims to improve the original 2019 release with several gameplay refinements, including:
- Optional stamina system for a more flexible gameplay experience.
- Revamped camera for improved controls and navigation.
- Additional enhancements for modern platforms.
The updated edition will also receive physical Collector’s Editions.
While the postponement may disappoint longtime fans, the publisher appears focused on delivering a polished version rather than rushing the release.
Shenmue 3 Enhanced is now targeting early 2027, with more information expected in the coming months.
