Croteam and Devolver Digital have officially announced The Talos Principle 3, the final chapter in the critically acclaimed philosophical puzzle series.

The game is currently in development for:

• PlayStation 5
• PC via Steam

…and promises to deliver the most ambitious and mind-bending entry in the trilogy yet.

A Cosmic Journey Across Dozens of Worlds

According to the official reveal, players will awaken inside a mysterious realm known as The Anomaly — a strange place filled with collapsing temples, abandoned scientific facilities, and broken laws of physics.

The world is described as deeply contradictory, existing as the only known place in the universe where reality itself no longer functions properly.

As players explore the Anomaly, they will gradually recover fragmented memories while solving increasingly complex puzzles tied to both personal identity and the history of humanity itself.

The developers tease that some believe the Anomaly is Heaven, while others believe it may actually be Hell.

Either way, judgment awaits.

The Final Chapter of a Legendary Puzzle Trilogy

The original The Talos Principle launched back in 2014 and quickly became one of the most respected first-person puzzle games ever made thanks to its philosophical themes, existential storytelling, and clever puzzle design.

Its sequel, The Talos Principle 2, expanded the formula significantly in 2023 with:

• larger environments,
• deeper narrative choices,
• and more advanced puzzle mechanics.

Then in 2025, Croteam revisited the original game through The Talos Principle: Reawakened, a reimagined version designed for modern hardware.

Now, after more than a decade of storytelling, The Talos Principle 3 is set to conclude the trilogy.
